No person was ever honored for what he received.
Honor has been the reward for what he gave.

"The number one reason people give is because they are asked."
"Ask early, ask often, and ask in the most personal way possible."
"Do what is best for the client."

At Connelly & Associates Fundraising, we understand that each organization has specialized needs and our goal is to supply each of our clients with superior service and outstanding outcomes.
OUR SERVICES
Feasibility & Planning Studies
A Feasibility & Planning Study makes recommendations about the best course of action for the organization and
guides the development of that plan. It is an important tool in educating, involving, and cultivating an organization's constituents
and prospects. With their input and participation having been sought up-front, your staff and volunteers will get behind the effort
and will acknowledge the visible sense of purpose and organization that characterizes this work from start to finish.
We recommend that most organizations conduct a Feasibility & Planning Study prior to launching a Campaign, but the size, length and
cost of the Feasibility & Planning Study is based on needs of your unique organization.
Following a successful Feasibility & Planning Study, we strongly encourage clients to move forward with their Campaign as soon as possible to maintain momentum and enthusiasm. Indeed, we view a Feasibility & Planning Study as simply the first phase in a Campaign.
Major Gift Campaigns & Capital Campaigns
We offer both Major Gift Campaigns and Capital Campaigns. Essentially the difference between the two is based upon the needs of the organization. Major Gift Campaigns are generally for organizations that are not quite ready to mount a full Capital Campaign. Major Gift Campaigns have more modest goals, and do not require the assigned Campaign Director to be on-site full time. Since the assigned Campaign Director is on-site generally two days per week, the fee for this service is less. Capital Campaigns are usually for organizations with more developed fundraising efforts, and Capital Campaigns have larger financial goals than Major Gift Campaigns. Since Major Gift Campaigns are essentially "mini Capital Campaigns," many of the same strategies and principles apply to both. Again - It all comes down to what best serves the client.
Being On-Site Is Important
We have found that the best way for us to function is to be on-site. We believe very strongly that our role as the on-site Campaign Director works best when we establish long-term relationships with contributors, volunteers and staff. Indeed, many contributors, volunteers and staff at previous clients felt no obvious difference between us as consultants and the rest of the fundraising team. We strive to become part of the family, and immerse ourselves in the day-to-day activities of the organization. Being on-site is critical, and that is part of our standard strategy.
Our Fees
As with any reputable firm, we base our fees on the amount of time that we spend with our clients.
How We Are Different
Most Campaigns are run on the same basic model. The success or failure of a Campaign is primarily based on the experience and dedication of the Campaign Director, and our Campaign Directors have extensive experience in the Baltimore/Washington/Annapolis Fundraising Community, both as volunteers and Campaign Directors.
