Vincent F. Connelly

In fundraising since 1985, Vince has personally directed comprehensive Capital Campaigns and Major Gifts Campaigns for local and national clients. Vince most recently worked with St. Mary’s Church & School in Annapolis, the Chesapeake Bay Trust, Mosaic Community Services, The Maryland State Boychoir, Harford Day School, Saint Luke Institute and Archbishop Curley High School. Prior to founding Connelly & Associates Fundraising, Vince completed Capital Campaigns for The National Federation of the Blind and the Cambridge School (both in Baltimore), as well as Campaigns for the Humane Society of the United States and the Lt. Joseph P. Kennedy Institute (both in Washington, DC). Also prior to founding Connelly & Associates Fundraising, Vince directed Capital Campaigns for The Archdiocese of Baltimore (10 Parish Campaigns), The Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament Church (Washington, DC), and Catholic Charities (Washington, DC). In addition to personally directing these Campaigns, Vince has supervised Campaign Directors on numerous other Campaigns, including Holy Cross Hospital (Silver Spring, Maryland), the Church of the Resurrection (Ellicott City, Maryland) and the Society of the Holy Child Jesus (“The Holy Child Sisters”) in Philadelphia.
Vince graduated with a B.A. in History from Goucher College, and also earned a Certificate in Fundraising Management from Goucher College. He has worked as Goucher’s Director of Class Giving and Phonathons, and under his direction the College experienced its highest total annual giving up to that point, as well as its best alumni participation in a decade.
Vince is an active Board Member of AFP-MD (The Association of Fundraising Professionals, Maryland Chapter), and served as President in 2003 and 2004. He is a past Board Member of APRA-MD (The Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement, Maryland Chapter), and currently serves on the AHP (Association for Healthcare Philanthropy) Mid-Atlantic Regional Cabinet and Chesapeake Planned Giving Council (CPGC) Board. Vince is also an associate member of Maryland Nonprofits (MANO), and served on the Advisory Board for the Fundraising Certificate Program at Goucher College.
Vince was selected as one of the “Top 40 Under 40” by the Baltimore Business Journal in 2002.
